Private funeral service for KIYOTO JIM USHIJIMA, 90, a Pahoa, Hawaii born Nisei and resident of Los Angeles, who passed away at the Brotman Medical Center on April 24, was held on Sunday, April 29 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel, with a minister from Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.

He is survived by his wife, Miyo; son, Glenn (Marnell) Ushijima; daughter, Mitzi Omori; 8 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Fujiye Ushijima and many nephews and nieces.
