Okita, Kiyomi (age 82) Resident of Los Angeles, passed away on Feb. 27, 2006. Beloved husband of Sueko Okita; father of Linda Okita and Barbara (Thomas) Carney of New Jersey; grandfather of Christine Carney and Tommy Carney, both of New Jersey; brother of Utano Okita, Michiko Muramoto and Fujiye (Tatsuo) Endo; brother-in-law of Mary Shimotani; and also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives. Private service was held on Wed., March 8, 2006, at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with a minister of Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
