KIYOKO HELEN NAKAOKA,
passed away on April 24, 2013. She was 93 years old. Kiyoko was a loving and beautiful Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother. Born in Los Angeles, she lived most of her life in Salt Lake City, Utah, and spent the last 22 years in Southern California. Survived by children, Archie (Barbara) Nakaoka, Clyde (Linda) Nakaoka and Arlene (Frank) Balkin, all of California; Glen (Chris) Nakaoka of Salt Lake City, Utah; 8 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren, cousin, Hisao (Yoko) Takahashi of New York and many nieces and nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
Memorial and burial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 18, 2013 at Evergreen Cemetery "Ivy Chapel", 204 N Evergreen Ave, L.A.. Officiating the service is Reverend Furukawa, from Johrei Fellowship. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Vitas Hospice or The Humane Society.
