Kinu Henmi, 92 years old, Saitama, Japan-born, resident of La Palma, passed away peacefully on September 22, 2025.

Predeceased by her beloved husband, John Morihei Henmi and brothers, Nobutake, Teiji and Shohei Oba; she is survived by her son, Mike (Robin) Henmi; daughter, Nancy (Toshiki) Hara; grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Henmi, Bryce (Lesley Lei) and Kaitlin Hara; siblings, Yasuyo (Hisao) Arai, Katsuji (Sachiko) Oba, Kiyomi Yoshikawa, Teruko (Akira) Yoshida and Michiyo Nomura; sister-in-law, Toshie Yokota; she is also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here in the U.S. and in Japan.

A private service was held on Saturday, October 4th at Orange County Buddhist Church with Rev. Dr. Mutsumi Wondra officiating.
