Kimiko Nakaoka, 95, a longtime resident of Los Angeles County, CA, passed away peacefully on March 6, 2025.

She was the 4th of 6 children born to Tazo & Sho Irimajiri in Kochi-ken Japan.   Along with her late husband, Kiyoto Ken Nakaoka, she was active in the community for many years.  In her later years she enjoyed activities with the VFW Women's Club, line dancing, was a tai chi instructor and enjoyed her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by sons, Russell (Kathy) Nakaoka and Grant (Tracy) Nakaoka; daughters, Janet (Sho) Tobari, Joy (Mark) Yorita, and June (Len) Archibeque; 8 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren.

Funeral was held at Gardena Buddhist Church and honoring the family's
request, it was held as a small family service.
