Private funeral services for the late Kimiko Kitazawa, 86 year old San Fernando-born resident of Chatsworth who passed away on September 26th, were held on October 9th at San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple with Rev. Patricia Usuki officiating.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kiyoshi Kitazawa. Survived by her children, Dr. Gary (Toni) Kitazawa, Dr. Stan (Dr. Lynn) Kitazawa, and Sharon (Dr. Caleb Hirsch) Kitazawa; grandchildren, Marissa and Chelsey Kitazawa; sister, Miye Tamura; and pet parrots, Martinique and Chester.
