Obituary
Monden, Kimie 93, of Arcadia, CA passed away at home on Jan.27, 2012.
Born on March 1, 1918 in Oxnard, CA to the late Hisaichi and Torako Monden, she was a graduate of Huntington Memorial Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1941. She was then a guest of the U.S. government at Gila River Camp II, followed by a short visit to Minnesota winters at Children's Hospital and finally, a return to California. In 1990, she retired as Director of Nurses at Lincoln Hospital in Los Angeles.
Predeceased by sisters, Mary Monden Uozumi and Tae Monden Yonekawa, she is survived by younger sister, Alice Monden, four nephews, three nieces and other family members. Memorial service will be held on March 3, Saturday, 11:00a.m. at Fukui mortuary, 707 E. Temple St, Los Angeles, CA.
