A private service for the late Kimi Akiyoshi, 93 year-old Shizuoka, Japan born resident of Los Angeles and member of the Montebello Women's Club who passed away on September 7 at Keiro Nursing Home was held on Saturday, September 23 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Masaya Hibino officiating.

She is survived by her husband, George R. Akiyoshi; son, Chris (Keiko) Akiyoshi; daughter, Susan (David) Sakuda of Hawaii; six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives
