Obituary
Kikuyo Mary Utsumi, a 104-year-old Gardena, California-born Kibei-Nisei resident of Los Angeles and former Rohwer Relocation Camp internee during WWII passed away peacefully on March 18, 2016.
Mrs. Utsumi was predeceased by her husband, Eiichiro, and her children Eiko Margaret Yaguchi and Koji Raymond Utsumi. She is survived by her children, Kei Utsumi and Aiko Lily Backhus, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and many other relatives.
A family memorial gathering was held privately, officiated by Pastor Kazuaki Yamada of Los Angeles Japanese Baptist Church.
