SHIMABUKURO, KIKUE (KAY).  Age 93, passed away peacefully in Pasadena on June 27, 2022. Born in Hawaii, Kikue was a long-time resident of Hilo and Los Angeles and worked at the Southern California Gas Co. from 1959-1988. Kikue is predeceased by her husband, Yukichi; son, Randy; and her six siblings, Chiyoko Yagi, Shinichi Oshiro, Natsuko Aoki, Yoshino Chung, Sueno Onishi and Paul Oshiro; and is survived by her loving family; son, Ross (Ellen) Shimabukuro; daughter, Lorna (Robert) Hudgins; grandchildren, Matthew and Ariel Hudgins, and Emiko (Adrian) Velazco; great-grandchild, Kenzo Velazco; sister-in-law Yukino (Jere) Shima. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. Many thanks to The Terraces at Park Marino for their heartfelt care and friendship.
