Born to James Noboru and Marion Miwa Katayama in Los Angeles, CA. He is survived by siblings James Katayama and Maxine Morisaki.

Predeceased by brother, Mark Akio Katayama. Ken was a gentle soul with a heart that only saw the good in people. He loved animals, especially dogs, and even cats. He will be remembered for his goodness and missed always.
