Funeral service for Kenjiro Hayakawa, 96-year-old veteran of WWII and DB Boys, resident of Montebello who passed away on Feb. 9, 2016 at his residence, will be held on Thursday, Feb 18 at 11:00 AM at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden," 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles with Rev. Kenjo Igarashi from Sacramento Nichiren Buddhist Church officiating.

He is predeceased by his loving wife, Yoshiko Hayakawa.
He is survived by his children, Shigeru (Wendy) Hayakawa, Kimi Serpas of Louisiana, Satoru (Laura) Hayakawa of Florida and Lane (Judy) Hayakawa; nine grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
