KENJI OIWAKE
Funeral services for the late Kenji Oiwake, 66-year-old, Tokyo Japan-born and resident of Monterey Park and Japan, who passed away on June 25, 2025, will be held on Friday, July 11, 11:00 AM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St, Los Angeles, California.
He is survived by his wife, Susan Akiko"Honda" Oiwake; daughters, Michelle Lina (Abraham) Zarraga, Christine Yoko (Mike)Wang, and Rachel Aiko Oiwake; grandchild, Jaylen Isaiah Kai Zarraga; also survived by his brother Yoshiro Oiwake, sister Rieko Yazawa, many nieces, nephews, and other relatives here and in Japan.
