Obituary
Kenichi "Ken" Maruyama – Los Angeles born, resident of Dana Point – passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 30, at Mission Hospital in Mission Viejo, CA. He was 92 years old.
Ken is survived by his beloved family: wife, Sumi Maruyama; daughters, Jane Frausto-Maruyama and Kathy Fujita; son, Bob (Terri) Maruyama; grandchildren, Stefanie (Derek) Kagimoto, Neil (Nishell) Fujita, Katsu Frausto, Warren, Scott and Ryan Maruyama; great grandson, Jordan Fujita; brother, Yukio (Masae) Maruyama.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 from 11am at Fukui Mortuary: 707 E. Temple Street, Los Angeles – officiated by Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission.
