Memorial service for Kazuye Ishihara, 96-year-old Fowler born resident of Torrance who passed away on Jan. 23, 2013 at Torrance Memorial Medical Center, was held on Sat. Feb. 2 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her daughter, Jean Hiroko (Thomas) Hirata; son, James Mamoru (Chau) Ishihara; step-grandson, Minh Ishihara; granddaughters, Stephanie (Christopher) Ellingsworth and Caren Hirata; great grandchildren,
Jamison, Kiana, Kristina Ishihara and Gavin Ellingsworth; other relatives.
