, an 86-year-old Nisei, California-born, long-time resident of Monterey Park who honorably served in the US Army passed away on June 12, 2017.
Mr.
Hirata
is survived by his beloved wife of 60 years, Alice Harumi

; father of Kurt, Shawn (Rick Wininger), Arliss and Ford (Stacey)
Hirata
; grandchildren, Jeremy (Amanda), Bryce, Sydne, Kennedy and Ryder; great-grandchildren, Kai, Kalani and Keanu.
Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on
Wednesday, July 5th
between the hours of
10:30 am - 12:00 pm
at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" 707 E. Temple St., Los Angeles, CA 90012.
Casual attire is preferred.
