Funeral services for the late Kazuta Takasugi, 91-year-old Portland, Oregon born Nisei resident of Monterey Park who passed away peacefully on November 14th, will be held on Saturday, November 27th, 1pm at Koyasan Buddhist Temple, 342 E. 1st St., Los Angeles. He is survived by his beloved wife, Emmy Takasugi; sons, Dr. Tsuneo (Tomoko) and James (Mona Nakamura) Takasugi; daughter, Maxine (Dean) Yokota; grandchildren, Yuri (Christopher) Santiago, Lisa (Tommy) Vuong, Eric and Alexandra Takasugi; two great grandchildre; brother, Hiromi (Fumie) Takasugi of Japan; brother-in-law, Kennith (Sachiko) Iga; sister-in-law, Michiko (Terry) Foor of Nevada; Also by nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
