Funeral service for Kazushige Shimono 81-year-old Hiroshima-ken born resident of Culver City who passed away on October 6 at Cedars Sinai Medical Center, will be held on Friday, Oct. 12 from 7:30 PM at Venice Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 12371 Braddock Dr., Culver City, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. Additional parking is available at Venice Japanese Community Center, 12448 Braddock Dr., Los Angeles.
The deceased is survived by his wife, Mary Sakaye Shimono; son, Hiro H. Shimono; daughter, Susie Akemi (Jack Edward) Bone; grandchildren, Eugene A, Amy H. Shimono and Kelly Mariko, Erica Kiyomi Bone; many nieces, nephews and relatives.
