A private memorial service for Kazuo "Katz" Hirano, 88 year old, El Centro, CA born, Rosemead resident, who passed away on May 18, 2025 was held on Monday, June 09, 2025.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean; daughters, Pamela (Marc) Shishima, Stephanie Hirano, and Kimberly (Darren Yasukochi) Hirano; granddaughter, Emily Shishima; brother-in-law, George Sugimoto; niece and nephew, Lisa (Don Nose) Sugimoto and Nathan (Christine) Sugimoto; he is also survived by many other relatives.  He was predeceased by his sister Ruri Sugimoto.
