Private family funeral service for Kazuko Watari, 86-year-old Kushiro, Hokkaido born resident of Los Angeles who passed away on July 28 at
Keiro Nursing Home, was held on Thursday, August 8 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with a minister from Higashi Honganji Buddhist Temple officiating.
She is survived by her husband, Kiyoji Watari; son, Tetsusen Wesley (Sayoko) Watari; grandchildren, Tetsuji and Hiromitsu Watari; sisters, Kyoko Togashi and Fukuko Yashima, both of Japan; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan
