Kazuko Shimizu's Obituary
Kazuko Shimizu, 89, passed away peacefully in her sleep on March 14. She was born in Gallup, New Mexico on December 9, 1918. She is survived by six daughters, Dolly Atsuko (Paul) Kaplan, Sally Masako (Larry) Iboshi, Judy Fumiye (Ken) Hiroshige, Jo Ann Kumiko (David) Magnan, Nancy Miyo (Larry) Bowers and Susan Haruyo (Calvin) Tsukada; nine grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; a brother, Fujio Tanisaki; and many other relatives.
Memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 20 from 10:30 AM at Centenary United Methodist Church, 300 S. Cental Ave., Los Angeles, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary (213)626-0441.
