Private funeral services for the late Kazuko "Kaz" Kawazoe-Ishida, 62-year-old, born in Tokyo, Japan, resident of Mar Vista, who passed away peacefully on September 15, 2022, were held on October 15 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with George Gawartin of SGI-USA.

She is survived by her loving family: husband, Katsuhiko "Ryo" Ishida; children, Juno and Hugo Ishida; sister, Nobuko. She is also survived by two nieces and other relatives in Japan.
