Katsuko Fujita, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on June 27,2026. Katsuko was born in Fukuoka, Japan in 1941 and came to America in 1969 following her marriage to Robert (Bob) Fujita. Everything Katsuko did was completed to perfection; she was an artisan, needle crafter, tailor, and above all an outstanding cook, who generously shared her culinary delights with family and friends. Katsuko is survived by her son Wesley, daughter Junko, and granddaughter Samantha. She will be remembered for her love and dedication to her family, her contagious laughter and wonderful sense of humor, and the kindness and generosity she shared with her loving friends. She will be missed by all.

Her funeral was held at LA. Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, officiated by Rimban William Briones.
