Obituary
YANAGA, KATSUMI, 63, resident of Montebello, California passed away on Feb. 3, 2009.
Beloved husband of Tsuruye Yanaga; father of Rodney (Kumiko) Yanaga of Japan, Ritchie and Cindy Yanaga; grandfather of Melanie Yanaga of Japan; son of Toshie Yanaga; sister of "Kay" Kayoko (David) Endow; brother-in-law of Yoshiko Naruko, Mariko Michiuye, Yoko Oishi, Sumiko (Akio) Kono, Kazuo (Akiko) Michiuye and Tom Matsumoto and also, he is survived by many nephews, nieces and other relatives.
Private funeral service was held on Sunday, Feb. 8, at Fukui Mortuary " Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Shumyo Kojima of Zenshuji Soto Mission officiating.
