Private graveside service for KATSUMI SAKATANI, 90, Los Angeles born Nisei and resident of Torrance who passed away on March 24, was held on Tuesday, March 29 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Steven Langley officiating.

Katsumi, who is predeceased by his sister, Yuri Okabayashi, is survived by his wife, Mary Atsuko; sons, Richard Alan (Charlene), William Douglas (Mary Ann), Robert Lewis, Michael David (Christine) of Hawaii; daughters, Susan Lianne (Michael) Castro and Patricia Lynne (Russell) Bankson; 12 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; brothers, Tomomi (Setsuko) of San Diego and Bacon Sakatani; sister, Kay Yamaoka; brother-in-law, Tak Okabayashi and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
