Katsumasa "Kats" Yabuno, passed away peacefully at the age of 90, on July 25, 2018. He was born in Mountainview, HI and resided in North Hills, CA.

He was also a Nisei Veteran and worked as a carpenter for over 45 years.

He is survived by his loving family; wife, Aiko Yabuno; children, Yolanda, Dr. Steve (Vicki), Randall (Ellen) and Wayne (Sue) Yabuno; grandchildren, Jamie, Daniel and Kristen Yabuno; brothers, Sadao and Satomi Yabuno of HI; sister, Ethel (Tony) Suzuki of HI; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Hawaii.

Private funeral services were held on August 3, 2018 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" with Rimban William Briones of Los Angeles Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.
