A private funeral service for the late Katsuko Watanabe, 87-year-old, Japan born, resident of Carson, who passed away on March 6, 2026, was held on Wednesday, March 25 at Gardena Buddhist Church in Gardena.

Predeceased by her husband, Hisashi Watanabe; she is survived by her children, Henry Watanabe, Betty (David) Isa, and Edward Watanabe; grandchildren, Douglas (Joana) and Derek Isa; great grandchild, Eleanor, she is also survived by many relatives in Japan and the US.
