Katie Kikuye Morishita (Kathryn Okinaga Morishita), 94 year old Las Vegas Nevada resident, passed away on July 1, 2013. Kathryn is survived by her children, Jay K. Okinaga, Dorleen Okinaga (Dean) Ayers of Nevada and Christine Okinaga (Alex) Gatica; grand children, Ryan Marcus (Kiley), Rome and Carter Kramer, all of Utah, Alex Gatica II, Adam and Stephanie Gatica; step daughter Janet Morishita (Ted) Yoshimi, and predeceased by her late step son, Gary Morishita.

Private family services were held on July 19, 2013 at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church.

Family has requested flowers and koden be omitted.
