Family services for the late Katashi Nakayama, King City, Calif.-born Nisei resident of Chino Hills who passed away on July 20 at Chino Valley Medical Center, were held on July 27 at Fukui Mortuary Chapel with a minister from Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple officiating.

He is survived by his daughter, Edith K. Matsui; son, Michael C. Nakayama; grandchildren, Stacy (Ross) Yoshida and Jennifer Matsui; great grandchildren, Hailey Yoshida, Jayden Moses and Catelyn Yoshida; and brother, Frank Nakayama, of Sacramento.
