Private funeral services for the late Junpei Kawasaki, 92-year-old, CA born resident of Monterey Park, who passed away on October 8, 2017 were held on Sunday, November 5 at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple in Los Angeles.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Tomoe Kawasaki; children, Ron (Mihoko) and Ken (Lisa) Kawasaki, and Gail (George) Fong; grandchildren, Tiffanie (Stuart) Jones, Jonathan, Mari and Darren Kawasaki, and Jeanette and Jennifer Fong; great-granddaughter, Katelyn Jones; brother, Kunihei (Yumiko) Kawasaki; he is also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
