Funeral service for JUNKO TANIKAWA, 88, an Idaho born Nisei who passed away at her residence in Los Angeles on September 15 will be held on Saturday, September 24, 10:00AM at the Evergreen Baptist Church, 1255 San Gabriel Blvd, Rosemead, with Rev. Tommy Dyo officiating under the direction of Fukui Mortuary.

She is survived by her son, Harry; daughters, Aileen (Dennis) Maruki, Janis (Morris) Fukumoto and Gale (Leo) Hamabata; grandchildren, Jennifer Hamabata-Huie, Jill Cobb, Janelle (Mark) Yoshikawa, Garret Hamabata, Scott Fukumoto, Clint Maruki, Crystal Fukumoto and Tricia Maruki; great granddaughter, Lianne Huie; brother, Dr. Kenneth (Joan) Hamada; sister, Ame (Sam) Kobayashi many nephews and nieces and other relatives.
