Funeral service for the late Mrs. Junko Shibasaki, 83 year-old, Mie-ken, Japan born resident of Montebello, who passed away at her residence on December 15 was held on Sunday, December 21 at Fukui Mortuary " Chapel in the Garden" with Rev. Alfred Tsuyuki of Konko Church of Los Angeles officiating.

She is survived by her son, Eugh (Chigusa) Shibasaki Jr.; daughters, Akiko (John) Shioya, Kyoko (Katsu) Kusaba and Raye Shibasaki; grandchildren Marc (Thu) and Chris Shioya, Sean Shibasaki; great-grandchildren, Audra and Alyssa Shioya; sisters, Toshiko Ichikawa and Saiko (Keishi) Ogawa, both of Japan; also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
