Obituary
June Atsuko Watanabe, 88, passed away on September 18, 2018, at the Vista Cove Nursing Home in San Gabriel.
She is survived by her husband Mitsuru, sisters-in-law Masako Watanabe, Yasuko (Ken) Elsing, in Nagoya her sister Chieko Maejima, brother Kazumi (Nobue) Maejima, many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Nagoya.
She was born in Nagoya and came to the USA in 1954. She studied cosmetology and started her own beauty salon. Atsuko also enjoyed golfing and karaoke with her many friends.
Public visitation will be held on Friday, October 12, from 7 to 8 pm at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" at 707 E Temple, Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers and koden, we request that you make a donation to a charity of your choice.
