June Y. Kunitake, 89-year-old Wailuku, Maui born resident of Los Angeles passed away peacefully at home on January 4, 2015. Beloved wife of Jitsuo Kunitake; devoted mother of Lloyd, Gary (Kim), Reid (Ann) Kunitake; proud grandmother of Ryan, Kevin, Darren, Paige, Leigh, and Blake Kunitake. Also survived by siblings Marilyn Tabata, Tsuyoshi Tagomori, and Manabu (Susan) Tagomori, all of Hawaii, and many other relatives.


Visitation will be held Friday, January 16, 2015 at 7pm at Fukui Mortuary, 707 E Temple St. in Los Angeles, with a Memorial Service to be held Saturday, January 17, 2015 at 2pm in the same location.
