Judy Fumie Hiroshige was born in Greeley, Colorado, on January 2, 1943. She went to be with the Lord and her loving husband, Ken Hiroshige, D.D.S., on February 8, 2025.

Judy is survived by her devoted children, Kimberly Hiroshige-Okumura, D.D.S., and her husband, Howard Okumura; and Stephen Hiroshige, D.D.S., and his wife, Grace Hiroshige.  Judy's loving grandchildren are Kenneth Okumura (30 years old), Ryan Hiroshige (26 years old), Kaylyn Hiroshige (24 years old), and Jayden Hiroshige (19 years old).

Judy went to UCLA for her undergraduate work, finished USC's School of Education program in May of 1971, became State Board certified in 1973, and received her Masters in Education in 1986 from UCLA's School of Education: Master of Arts in Computer Education.  Judy taught at Coliseum Street School, Amestoy, Stowers, and Helen Whitman Elementary.

In addition, Judy was actively involved at Gardena Valley Baptist Church: Children's Ministry Leader, Sunday School Teacher, Choir, Golf Fellowship, Harvest Festival, Children's Choir Director, Children's Christmas Program Director, and Vacation Bible School Director.

The celebration of Judy's life will be held on Friday, March 7, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Gardena Valley Baptist Church located at 1630 W. 158th Street, Gardena, CA  90247.  Hawaiian attire is welcome.  Reception to follow.  The burial service will be held privately at Greenhill Memorial Park at 3 p.m.
