JOSEPHINE FUMIKO NAGATA
Private funeral services for the late Mrs. Josephine Fumiko Nagata, an 87-year-old, Denver Colorado-born Nisei resident of Rosemead who passed away on September 22, 2011 were held at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden" officiated by Rev. Dr. Richard Kuyama of Centenary United Methodist Church of Los Angeles.
Mrs. Nagata was predeceased by her beloved husband, George Saburo Nagata in 2006. She is survived by her children, Wayne (Janice)Nagata, Letty (Harve) Meskin, Pam Nagata and Woody (Liz) Nagata; grandchildren Allison and Jenna Nagata, Brielle Meskin, Michael Meskin of Japan, and Kiersten Nagata, Josh Nagata and Makayla Nagata; siblings, May Tomikawa, Ruth Murata, Sherman (Stella)and Bob (Barbara) Yamaguchi and Marie Wertz. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
