Funeral services for the late JOSEPHINE SACHIKO KAWASAKI (nee Ashimoto) born on October 11, 1913 in Los Angeles passed away on December 23, 2006 in Gardena, CA., she was 93 years of age will be held Wednesday, January 3, 9:30 a.m. at Holy Cross Cemetery "Risen Christ Chapel" 5835 W. Slauson Ave., Culver City, CA 90230 under the direction of Fukui Mortuary (213) 626-0441.

Sachiko was preceded in death by Frank, her husband of 71 years; grandson, John David Suzuki; sisters, Tsuyu Adachi and Anna Higashi; brother, Phillip Ashimoto and son-in-law Tom Suzuki.
She is survived by daughters, Virginia Suzuki and Carol (Steve) Hara; sons, Frank, Joseph (Fumiko), Richard (Susan) and Michael Kawasaki; grandchildren, Mariko (John) Stumbaugh, Todd (Rita) Kawasaki, Leslie (David) Conrey, Julie (Mark) Schultz, Yuko (Greg) Cohn, Michelle and Allison Kawasaki, Matthew and Paul Hara; six great-grandchildren; sister-in-law Hisako Ashimoto; also many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
