Funeral service for Joseph Mitsuo Yamamoto, 92-year-old Terminal Island born resident of Seal Beach who passed away on Sept. 28, 2015 at Knott Avenue Care Center, will be held on Sat. Oct. 10 at 10:00 AM at Long Beach Buddhist Church, 2360 Santa Fe Ave., Long Beach.
He is survived by his wife, Mitsuko H. Yamamoto; sons, David T. (Lisa) and Arnold H. Yamamoto; grandchildren, Sophia, Andrea, Bradley (Lisa) and Dennis (Ann) Yamamoto; 3 great-granddaughters; sisters, Sumie Shima of Japan and Sugako S. Yamamoto; many nieces, nephews and other relatives here and in Japan.
