MR. JON HIDEYO YONEMOTO, 45, Covina, CA born Sansei, resident of Torrance, passed away unexpectedly on December 4, 2007, at his residence.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15, at 10:30AM at Santa Monica First United Methodist Church, 1008 11th St., Santa Monica with Pastor Gary Shiohama of South Bay Community Church officiating, under the direction of Fukui Mortuary. Jon—wonderful, devoted father; cherished son, baby brother, and uncle; warm, humorous, and generous friend; much beloved and skillful b-ball player and coach—is survived by his beloved daughters, Kaela and Kacie Yonemoto; beloved parents, Dr. Robert and Tomiye Yonemoto; beloved brother, Rev. Rob (Lynne) Yonemoto, Jr., beloved sisters, Miyon (John) Kautz and Mimi Yonemoto both of Tacoma, WA, and Lisa Yonemoto; beloved nephews, Riley and Evan Yonemoto, and niece and nephew, Sophie and Peter Kautz of Tacoma, WA; and beloved former wife, Sandy Yonemoto.
