John Yutaka Shinozuka, of Cathedral City, Riverside County, passed away at the age of 85 on January 6, 2018 at Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs following a brief illness. He was formerly a long-time resident of Cypress, CA.

He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Sachie Shinozuka and Jeannie Natsuko Shinozuka; he is also survived by his brothers and many other relatives in Japan.

Private burial will be held at a later date.
