Obituary
John Tsuyoshi Ota, 87, founder of Johnny's Sport Shop in Pasadena, passed away peacefully at his home on June 29. A memorial tribute will be held at Brookside Golf Club on July 20 at 2PM.
He is survived by his wife, Itsuko; daughter, Nancy (Wayne) Toyota; son, Bob (Deena) Ota; son-in-law, Wade Utsunomiya; grandchildren, Stacy and Robin Toyota and Warren and Holly Utsunomiya; brother, Frank Ota and many nieces and nephews.
The family kindly suggests casual attire and requests that in liue of flowers, donations be made in his memory to : The Scleroderma Foundation, 11704 Wilshire Blvd., Suite 250, Los Angeles, CA 90025.
