Dr. John Takuya Okada

March 28, 1921 - January 5, 2021

Jesus answered, "I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.  John 14:6

Through faith in Jesus, John lives on with the Father in heaven.

Born to Junzo and Hide Okada, matriarch of faith, John accepted Jesus as a young man and throughout his life he remained a faithful servant of the Lord at L.A. Holiness Church.  Professionally, he received his D.D.S. at U.S.C. and worked as a pediatric dentist in Covina, CA for over 25 years. Personally, he sought time for skiing, fishing, U.S.C. football and keeping a well- manicured yard.

After living a wonderful, long life, Dr. John Okada passed in his sleep at home.  His memory remains lovingly in the hearts of his family: his wife, his four children and their spouses, 13 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. John was preceded by an infant son and a daughter.
