Funeral services for John Takahiko Kawamura 87-year-old Los Angeles born resident of N. Hollywood who passed away on Nov. 5, 2010 at his residence, will be held on Sat. Nov. 20 from 11:00 AM at San Fernando Valley Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 9450 Remick Ave., Pacoima.
He is survived by his wife, Yoko Asao Kawamura; sons, Larry and Kenji Kenneth Kawamura; daughter, Janice Yoshiko Kawamura; step-sons, Harumitsu Richard (Joanne) and Katsumi Henry (Linda) Asao; step-daughter, Irene Michiko (Russell) Asao-Wells; nine grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; and many other relatives. The family requests that flowers please be omitted.
