John Morihei Henmi, 90 years old, Saitama, Japan-born, resident of La Palma, passed away peacefully on June 3, 2024.

He is survived by his loving family: wife, Kinu; son, Mike (Robin) Henmi; daughter, Nancy (Toshiki) Hara; grandchildren, Kyle and Kayla Henmi, Bryce and Kaitlin Hara; sister, Toshie Yokota of Japan; and many other relatives, nieces and nephews in the U.S. and in Japan.

A private service was held on July 13 at Orange County Buddhist Church with Rev. Dr. Mutsumi Wondra officiating.
