AKIYAMA, John K. 86, passed away on March 18, 2007. He is survived by his son, Steve S. Akiyama; daughter, Diane K. Kajikawa; granddaughters, Courtney Kajikawa of Hawaii and Kristen (Brandon) Miller; grandson, Matthew Kajikawa; brother, Harry Akiyama and sister Tsuneko Yoshida of Japan.
Private family funeral services were held on March 31, at Fukui Mortuary "Chapel in the Garden", with Richard Yamate-Morgan officiating.
