Private graveside services for the late Joe Tadao Takayama, 96 year-old, CA born resident of Torrance, who passed away on December 29, 2013 at his residence, were held on Wednesday, January 8 at Green Hills Memorial Park with Rev. Nobuo Miyaji of Gardena Buddhist Church officiating.

He is survived by his daughters, JoAnn Takayama, Linda Yim, Karen (John) Hopkins; granddaughter, Alison Yim; grandsons, Brandon Yim, Christopher and Travis Hopkins; sisters, Ruth Oda, Alyce Shinmoto and Mae Shishido; 13 nephews and 14 nieces.
