Joe Shokichi "Sho" Hoshino

Joe Shokichi Hoshino, born in Tokyo, Japan on October, 1923, passed away

peacefully at home surrounded by his family in Montebello, CA at the age of 93 on December 23, 2016.   He was interned during the war Poston, AZ to camp 2 block 211.  He was survived by his wife 58 year Kimika Hoshino, he was predeceased by father, Yoshizo Hoshino, mother Hisa Hirata Hoshino, brothers Isamu, Ted, Mitsuru, Kazumi, sisters Frances and Toshiko.

He is survived by his son, Jody M. Hoshino; daughter, Carrie M. Hoshino (Mike); grandchild, Alexis. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews.

Private family services were held on Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Fukui Mortuary and burial at Rose Hills Memorial Park.
