MR. JOE RYOSAKU OYE, 94, Los Angeles, CA born Nisei long time resident in the Los Angeles Uptown community, passed away on August 4, 2008.
Beloved husband of Mary Oye; father of Robert (Debbie) Oye; grandfather of Kimberly and Derek Oye; brother of Shizuka (Kaz) Hayashi; also survived by nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, August 19, 10 a.m., at St. Mary's Episcopal Church, 961 S. Mariposa Ave., Los Angeles.
