Joe Kanemori Nishimura, 83 year old, Monterey Park resident passed away on May 26, 2011. Joe is survived by daughter, Sally Archer; son, Frank "Mako" (Lori) Nishimura; grandchildren, Jeffrey and Allison Nishimura, Dayna and Caryn Archer; brothers, Roy (Chiyoko) Nishimura and Tsutomu Nishimura; sister, Kimiko (Edward) Horikiri; brother- in-laws, Sam Okimura and Kaoru Horikiri of Japan; sister-in-laws, Katsuko Nishimura and Chizuko (Fumiyoshi) Matsumoto of Japan, along with nieces, nephews and other family members both here and in Japan.

Services will be held on Thursday, June 2, 2011, 11:00AM at Hompa Hongwanji Buddhist Temple, 815 E. 1st St., Los Angeles CA.
