Private funeral services for the late Joanne Himeko Shiba, 85 year old, Los Angeles, California-born Nisei resident of Los Angeles who passed away at Keiro Nursing Home on February 12, were held on February 17 at Green Hills Memorial Park Chapel, officiated by Rev. Mark Nakagawa of Centenary United Methodist Church.
Beloved mother of Sharlene (Jiro) Takahashi; Kathlene (Tetsu) Tanimoto; Roy (Christie) Shiba; grandmother of Ashlee (James) Bryan, Erin Shiba, Miles (Dana) Takahashi, Marcus (Eisanne) Tanimoto, Sunny (Han) Lee, Taylor (Erin) Kennelly and Jennifer and Paige Shiba; great-grandmother of Cole, Aynsley and Quinsey Bryan and Katelyn Takahashi; sister of Lily Katsuki, Rose Eto and Kaz (George) Fujinami.
